Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa
The experience
Hepburn, in full
Set in the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve near Daylesford, this is Australia's oldest continuously operating mineral spa — bathers have soaked here since 1895. Water is drawn straight from the natural source, and the reserve around it is dotted with free public springs and bushwalks.
The general Bathhouse offers a mineral relaxation pool and a jetted spa pool. The premium, 16-plus Sanctuary layers on the real ritual: an aroma steam room, magnesium salt pool, hammam, dry sauna, cool-down pool and the signature open-air Creekside pool at 39°C. The heritage Edwardian pavilion next door handles the café side.
Signature: The open-air Creekside pool at 39°C.
